PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service (AKIRS) wishes to inform operators of Pools and Online Betting Companies in the State of the availability of Pools Betting Certificates.

AKIRS now requests those who paid for the certificates to visit Room 492, Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service at Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat Complex, Uyo with proof of payment for collection.

Consequently, Pools Companies in the state are advised to clear their liabilities as the State Internal Revenue Service will begin enforcement of the notice from 18th September to 4th November, 2023. Defaulters and illegal operators will be prosecuted.
