Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service (AKIRS) wishes to thank its teeming taxpayers for their voluntary compliance and cooperation in the payment of their taxes for the 2023 fiscal year.

AKIRS sincerely appreciates your conscientious efforts in fulfilling your civic responsibility of paying your taxes which is fundamental to the implementation of the ARISE agenda as enunciated by our dear Governor, His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno, while looking forward to greater cooperation and compliance in the year 2024 and beyond.

On the other hand, the Service urges all tax defaulters to pay up their liabilities to avoid prosecution.
