The need for States to look inwards and grow the Internally Generated Revenue

The need for States to look inwards and grow the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), to meet with Government developmental strides cannot be overemphasized.

It is against this backdrop that the Management of Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service (AKIRS) periodically engages with stakeholders at all levels to educate, inform and enlighten tax payers on their obligatory responsibility.

On of such engagement was held on Wednesday 11th July, 2018 with the AREWA Community in Akwa Ibom State to discuss on Personal Income Tax compliance and remittance.
